Southern Excavation & Utility is a family owned, locally operated company and owner Michael Rachel has over 12 years of experience providing quality service and construction. Beginning shortly after obtaining his degree from Auburn University in 2002, Michael has completed projects ranging from residential driveways and bulkheads to commercial site work, large underground utility installation and massive subdivision site preparation.
In addition to projects in neighboring states Michael has been an integral part in building and growing his local community, Baldwin County, Alabama, where he and wife, Elizabeth Rachel, co-owner and administrative assistant for Southern Excavation & Utility, live and raise their two daughters. Building a family, a business and a community means that quality work and reputation comes first and Southern Excavation & Utility is committed to quality construction and customer satisfaction.
